Here is the After. All new appliances. New floor. A lot of soft scrub, lysol, and bleach. We painted the walls, but the kitchen doesn't really have much wall space. If you notice above the cabinets is only half painted. We decided we didn't like the look of that wood painted. We are going to rip it out. Roger hung a new light fixture over the island too. We still need a new ceiling in here, but are debating over what to do with it. Tiles? Popcorn ceiling (gag!)? textured wallpaper? new drywall? sand it all and paint it? Ugh, thats why it is still an empty ugly slate. July 22, 2009
Kitchen Before And After
Here is the Before. It was filth layered with more filth. An area rug hiding a rotting floor. A stove that didn't work. A dishwasher that was the home for an ant trap.

The before and after might not actually seem that drastic but it was a lot of work! Roger had to replace a lot of floor before we put the pergo style flooring down. He also replaced the moldy rotten shelf under the sink. Click HERE to see all of the before pictures from our first walk through upon returning to the house in March.
