Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.

I have a confession to make. If that scripture was on your blog, I probably would have skipped over it. It's a HORRIBLE "habit" that I have. I don't know why I do it. And when I catch myself skipping The Word, The Bible, the gift that God has left for us while we wait for Him to return, I go back and read the scripture (that I thought was going to be to dull and boring to read in the first place). And you know what? I am always moved by the scripture. I am always touched by what it says. It makes me want to read more. Learn more. Grow more. Yet I still skip over His Word when I read blogs or when I read a book...

Just keepin' it real

So, I am making a decision. I am going to read those scriptures placed randomly (or not) on your blogs. I am going to rejoice over the Word. I will remind my head how my heart truly longs to read the Bible.

So go ahead, plaster scripture on your blogs. I'm gonna be reading it. I'm looking forward to what this year has to offer.
