Homeschool Math

We have these great # circles. You can line them up to play hopscotch, toss them around and make a game of hopping from number to number... or like we did here, make a clock.
These # circles have come in handy the past week for math.
As the school year comes to an end (we have about a month to go) we need some fun stuff to keep us going.
Making a giant clock on the living room floor (with some rulers for the minute and hour hands) was just the fun that our homeschool day needed.
I'm not sure the kids even realized we were doing school.
We spent longer telling time with our giant clock than if we were at the table with our little "school" clocks.

Today the plan is to use the # circles for some basic math.  (The #'s go up to 20.)  Hopping out some addition facts sounds like a fun way to spend math time.  :)
