I think these should actually be called homemade toaster strudels. But it's not my recipe so I digress.
The kids loved them! They had a nice flaky crust. I will make them again, though next time I would like to try to fill one with bacon, egg, and cheese.
Imagine a cute picture of the kids enjoying a homemade poptart here. They inhaled them so fast that I have no pictures. :)

I LOVE this idea!! The kids would all enjoy helping and hopefully it wouldn't all get eaten before being placed in the oven! LOL! I think that will be a great treat to try and I really like the thought of it being more of a breakfast pastry.
