All dolled up and no place to go. We visited a church for a 2nd time, which is more like a 20th time because it is the church we attended when we lived here a few years ago. We aren't convinced that it is the right fit for us though. This Sunday we will be going to the same church - different campus. Hopefully we find a church home soon. But anyway... back to Easter...
Hannah was princess for the day. Her baby doll had a matching dress. Hannah felt so special in her dress! The boys weren't near as dressed up but I didn't have to wrestle them into their polo shirts so it worked for me!
Some Easter lovin'.
And some Easter cake. :) It was a 3 layer chocolate cake with strawberry filling and strawberry icing. It was too much strawberry. I wanted to change it to chocolate icing but I didn't have what I needed to do that. We managed to eat it all anyway. (Not all in one day!)
And a certain 6 year old was very happy to have an egg hunt. Very happy. The others didn't want to hunt for eggs so he had this whole bowl to hunt. It was fun to be in a different house this year. Living in the same place for 3 years, he knew all of our hiding spots. I just found 2 eggs yesterday. Thank you Lord for whoever invented plastic Easter eggs. :)

Valerie, you guys all look great! I hope you do find a home church soon, I imagine it would smoth the transition for all of you. What an amazing cake - your kids don't know how great they've got it with a mom who makes such tastey cakes!
