Boxes!

What is it about boxes that make children giddy? When we picked up our stack of moving boxes (awesome Craigslist find by the way.) I had to threaten the children with bodily harm in order to get them to leave them alone so we could actually pack! They destroyed 2 or 3 boxes the first day we had em.  Stinkers.

But now that we are UNpacking the children are no longer being threatened for their life allowed to play with them.

I cut some holes in them and taped a few together.

I later added a 2nd story window - but I don't have a picture to prove that I'm a cool mom and think of stuff like that. ;)

Nehemiah might look bored here but he totally wasn't.  I think he's watching Hannah come out the other side.

There she is! :) All of her 5 year old cuteness.

Notice the now empty roll of duct tape.

We had to resort to electrical tape... but it was SO NOT the same. 


I love how the kids creativity came out.  How they were able to turn those boxes into rockets, and trains, and mazes to get to other places in the world. :)  Worth every hole that I cut in the perfectly good and still usable boxes.
