This is the cake I made for a baby shower at church yesterday.
I stayed up till 2am working on it Saturday night/morning. I wish I would have gone to bed earlier because I do not like how I did the plaid detail. I had one idea in my head and it didn't pan out so I did this to it instead. When I woke up Sunday morning I was like "ah! Why did I do that?!" Still wanted to do the plaid... just a different way/size.... I dropped the monogram 15 minutes before I was supposed to deliver it. It broke into many pieces. So did I. So... the monogram on top was Rogers idea. The "S" was saved from the original work and the "c" and "a" were new. I wanted to stand them up but couldn't since they were "fresh"
Overall though I liked it and it looked cute all set up with the matching cupcakes.
