Museum & Back to Work

We brought the kids to the local museum before Roger started work. It's not a large museum but it was interesting.

This one kinda freaked the kids out. It was so real.
Look at Joseph. Take note of what he is doing with his shirt.
He does that when he is nervous. The animals were all so real that it seemed like one would just jump out at you.
Um, that lion? It's HUGE.
2 seconds after I took this picture Nehemiah turned around, noticed he was standing in front of a large bear and ran to me screaming.

The kids much preferred to play on an old firetruck that was outside. There was a large playground too, but it was raining out. The firetruck was under a pavilion.
It was a fun day. We had a picnic lunch along, but like I said it was raining so we ate in the car. It was a fun way to spend the day before Roger had to start work. AND it was all free. :)

When Roger came home from work on his fist day he was bombarded with pictures that the kids (and I) made for him. I think the kids must have made about a dozen pictures each.
We then of course had to have cake with dinner. :)
You can never have to many sprinkles. :)

We are slowly but surely adjusting to Roger working again. It was so nice having him home but it is nice to have an income again too. It's weird to have Roger home in the mornings and gone in the evening, but we are getting used to that too. It's great to have him around when the kids wake up in the morning. His job is going well. For those that don't know, Roger is working for the local cable company. (we have free internet and cable tv!!) He is in training right now and will (in a few weeks) be the person you talk to if you call in to say your computer (or tv) isn't working properly. It's going great and he's really enjoying it.

The End. :)

Looks like a fun museum! REmember when I called you from upstate NY, and asked you to find something for me to do? The museum you suggested was a LOT like that!! :) LOL. Big animals/transportation, etc. and free. It was great. I'm glad you guys had fun. And... that Roger got cake, of course. :)
