Ouch

I was snapping pictures of the kids playing at the park.  Grandma was standing right there.  Hannah's hands either slipped or they got tired (she doesn't remember).  Whatever happened, she lost her grip.  This is the last picture I took that day.  A second later she was on the ground, in shock, trying to produce tears to match the pain and horror on her face.  Bless her little heart, she got the wind knocked out of her.  She didn't know what to do!

Now that she is better and her back no longer hurts I can post this picture and laugh.  (She laughs too.)

She could have landed on her feet!  Look at that, she as so close to the ground.  She panicked though and landed on her back.  You better believe she took some mental notes after that fall.  Lesson learned... don't panic and land on your back.  "high from your eyes, low from your feet."

Oh Man! I remember saying that, when jumping off the (TOP of) jungle gym in the backyard of the house in Liberty! "High from your eyes, low from your feet." How our parents didn't have heart attacks every time we did it is beyond me. Glad she's OK!
