Nehemiah got a marshmallow shooter at church a few months ago. Now that the marshmallows are stale and he is no longer tempted to eat them, he has started to use it. :) It's still a little tempting though... so he doesn't mind sharing a turn with Hannah.
Zion just loves her big brother. Today I had to put her down for a minute to help one of the kids with something. She SCREAMED. Joseph hates to see her upset, so he scooped her up. When I was finished helping my other child, I went to get Zion... but she didn't want me! She wanted to stay with Joseph! Stinker! :)
The kids discovered a youtube channel called King of Random. Mix some dry ice, minor explosives, and common household objects... and you have a 13 year olds dream youtube channel. Mix this channel with Joseph's school assignment (he chose to make 6+ things from Pinterest/Youtube and blog about them) and we have some random weaponry taking over our house. :) Anyway, in the above picture Joseph is using his newly crafted Blow Dart Gun. It shoots marshmallows really well. And over the 4th of July he discovered it shoots Pop It's pretty good too. (Not AT people though. He uses our shed as target practice)
This little cutie enjoys her summer days sitting in the grass trying to eat leaves. She gets the naughtiest little giggle when she is busted with one. :)
Keturah is pretending to be a Superhero a lot lately. She's got the pose down. :) She likes to be a Superhero Princess who saves the other princess'. It's not uncommon to hear her ask Nehemiah or Joseph to be a bad guy.... then she beats them up... and strikes a pose. :)
You'll notice Nehemiah in the picture with Joseph. Waaaay in the background. It looks like he's surrendering, but I'm not sure what he was doing. Probably trying to get my attention so he could ask if he can go back inside. He prefers to be in the house, in front of the air conditioner, reading a book or playing on the tablet.
Ahhh, summer.
