Update

Just thought I'd give a little update on life over here. 

We are projecting away, trying to finish the house THIS MONTH.  We have 6 days to go. 

Sweet mercy, I'm tired.  My ankles are swollen.  I'm hot.  I'm covered in paint and dirt.  My living room floor is looking more like the boardwalk at the beach (a bunch of sand, little floor) (we have VERY sandy soil at our house) than it is a living room floor.  The 2nd bathroom is in shambles.  The bathtub is currently out of commission. The tile was torn down and we are waiting for the spackle on the new drywall to dry so we can put up the new tub surround. The new surround by the way is in the middle of the living room floor.  It needed some stuff done to it before it could go up, so it is spread out in the middle of the living room. We have carpet scraps in the carport.  The old front door is in the front yard... being used as a table to paint trim.  The new door is temporarily hung... but no knob is attached. 

Whew!  All of that means, PROGRESS. 

I like progress.  I'm sure you would like pictures... but I don't have any at the moment.  I've been bad remembering to take before pictures.  I'll have to go back in my folders to find the pictures from when we first moved in.  Soon though.  Hopefully next week.... maybe 2.  We are having a yard sale in 2 weeks and I think we'll be ready for a for sale sign by then. 

We're dreaming big and praying big over here.  Trusting God for big things to happen. 

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go pick a paint color for the master bathroom.  It's been it's sad little primered self since about a month after we moved in.  Time to paint for real.
