Winter

This winter has been warm, even more so than you would expect for an East Texas winter.  We've had a few 80 degree days, with many upper 60's and 70's thrown in. 

I don't even have words to describe how awesome that is.

After being in the house all summer (pregnant + 107 degrees is NO fun), some outdoor play is such a nice change of pace.  We're going for walks (although not all of the kids enjoy walks.  A couple of em like to walk with a purpose... if there isn't an ice cream store around the corner they don't really see the point of walking in a circle.)  The kids are riding bikes and making up games to play in the driveway or in the backyard.  Some of them are trying to learn how to pogo stick.  Others bring a book outside to read and enjoy some fresh air. 

Have I mentioned how awesome it is?! 

Keturah loves being outside.  She'll just hang out in the sling and watch the kids run around. 

We're enjoying all of the lovely weather that we can.  All too soon it will be summer in Texas (we only have 2 seasons here) and it will be back to being stuck indoors and the AC.

I should have done a before/after for that one.  I didn't get either... just a "during".  Oh well!
