My camera holds a lot of pictures AND it has a wicked long battery life. I don't download pictures as often as I should. Plus, I have this little girl who only likes to nap in my arms. And, since I am kinda a fan of naps, I let her. We tried the crying thing and it didn't work. But anyway... this is about Easter. Cause you know, it's almost May. :)
And it's been so long that I forgot blogger posts the pictures backwards... so here are our finished Easter eggs. Coincedentally, I threw a whole dozen away just the other day. I forgot about them. I'm not a fan of hard boiled eggs. They make me sick. ... but they are fun to dye!
Adaiah thought they were pretty snazzy. I think she liked the sparkly ones the best.
Please excuse Hannah's hair. This is what she looks like by mid-day. She's a wild woman! :) I've always used food coloring and vinegar to dye eggs in the past, but this year we tried something new. It's a bag kit. You plop the egg in and add your color, rub it all around, and wa-la! dyed egg.
Joseph liked it. He's not a fan of getting dirty.
Nehemiah made this one. Just one. He was bummed that we weren't making them like last year. But hey, he smiled pretty for the picture. :)
My sister was here visiting over Easter. It had been a little over a year since we saw each other. It was great for her to come down! I have no idea when we will be able to make the trip back to PA. Her visit will be another post though.... Today was all about the eggs. :)
