Keturah's 3rd Birthday

My little girl turned 3.  Although, if you ask her she'll tell you she turned 2, 12, or any number in between.
While grocery shopping one day she spotted a Barbie cake in the bakery section.  So for weeks she has been asking for a Barbie cake for her birthday.
On Thursday she helped me make it for her.
She asked for a chocolate cake with Go-Go's color.  (blue)
(cake pictures later in the post)

Friday - Birthday Day.
She requested cereal with marshmallows for her birthday breakfast.
And as you can see, what she really wound up having was marshmallows for breakfast.  But what are birthdays for, right? :)

After her marshmallows she put on her pretty birthday dress.  I had to use the flash for this picture because she was too busy showing off her twirly dress to stand still for a picture.

When Daddy got home from work he woke her up from a nap.  She didn't mind.

Straight to the presents she went! :)  She got a Barbie Superhero movie.

And a Target version of the American Girl doll.  This one has a mermaid outfit to change into.  The two things she loves right now?  Barbies and mermaids.

Adaiah wrapped up a headband to give her.

And Hannah made her a bracelet.

She has more Barbie's than a 3 year old should have. :)  So to tell them apart she started calling this one Barbara.

She very specifically wanted Barbara for her cake.

She had a fun day.  Although she woke up this morning and said that her birthday is in 2 weeks.

I think she just had so much fun that she wants to do it all over again.  :)
