The kids were spoiled last week. No school. Beautiful warm weather with days at the park. Dinner(s) out. The best of all though, was that Roger's parents were visiting.
Hannah is my little hugger. You can always count on a good hug from her!
No time wasted. They started playing with their Grandparents right away! Here they are playing Battleship.
We had some amazing weather so we went to the playground. Twice. It was in the upper 70's to mid 80's!
Oh, the pictures I have of this! Grandpa was showing that he can still do a flip on the bar. That might need to be a separate post. :)
Joseph loves to swing. Our swing set at home isn't a high swingin' set. (It wobbles. A lot.) He was having a great time swinging as high as he could. He really got up there!
This little one enjoyed the park too. She discovered the thrill of a sliding board. What truly made her happy though was the dirt. Oh... the dirt!
We also had a little celebration for a certain someone.
That deserves it's own post though... so we'll save that for another day.
We had a great visit and even managed to get some stuff done to the house while they were here. (Pictures to come.) We always feel the sting of 1400 miles between us whenever anyone leaves. Right now though I just need to remind myself that they are still shoveling out up there and we are wearing flip flops and eating ice cream cones at the park. That eases the sting. ;)
Uncle Jon, we're ready for you to come down, the kids have great plans for you! Heads up, they involve Nerf guns, the Xbox, and burgers. :)

How wonderful! Roger's parents definitely look like they still know how to have fun. :)
