We've been busy

We've been busy around here, causing the blog to take a backseat.  Sorry Grandparents! :)

We went on vacation last week.  It was a wonderful week away.  That will be a blog post all to itself.  Hopefully soon because there is some exciting stuff to share. 

Home from vacation, we jumped right back into school. We are now only 3 days away from finishing our school year and we are so ready to be done!  Of course, we school year round, so we will jump right back into the new year of school... but we'll have a small break before we do that.  Yes, even though we just went away on vacation, we still need an at home no school vacation. :)  

The weather is beautiful here in East Texas, but we only know that because the iPod has a weather app.  It's Spring in East Texas...aka Allergy Season.  The poor boys (Roger included).  Benadryl is their friend.  We can't walk from the house to the car without sneezing fits.  Hopefully the pollen will settle down soon and we can enjoy some time outside before it is too hot to be outside.

We're crossing some projects off of our to-do list. 

I love this peel and stick flooring.  Wait til you see the after.  We (by "we" I mean Roger) did the main living area, leaving only the bedrooms carpeted.  It's great.  You'll have to take my word for it right now because there are still a few details to work on before I take an official after... but it's coming.  :)
